Dukun explores story about Malaysian black magic practicing. The movie is based on a true story. In 1994 a black magic practicing named Mona Fandey arrested because she practiced rituals which killed a politician who seek help to her to boost his political career. She was hanged in 2001. Right before she died she said ‘Aku takkan mati’ means I will never die. After that incident various supernatural rumors about her spread among people in Batu Talam district, Malaysia.
