Christina Ricci plays as Penelope, a young woman who born with ugly nose and ears look likes a pig because of family curse. She has to spend her life hide away from the outside world. To break the curse her mother tries to find a high society blue blood to love her. No body wants to love Penelope until a young man who can look the kindness of Penelope instead of her face. He gives courage to Penelope to go out from her hiding place to the outside world.
